We are organizing a sustainability dinner with experts in the field of sustainability. The speakers will start by introducing themselves, after which the speakers and attendees will have an amazing three-course vegan dinner together at the one and only Backyard. The speakers rotate places after each course, giving the attendees the opportunity to talk to multiple experts in sustainability. You can join us for only 5€ on the 6th of May, 18:00 at Backyard and talk to these experts:
▪️David Theuvenet – Founder of the project “One in 7 billion”, planning for an alternative economic model to replace capitalism based on companies’ profit to build a better life for us.
▪️Stephanie Middeldorp – Founder and owner of the Instagram Shop “Firstserved Vintage” and involved in the sustainable fashion industry.
▪️Lex Burdorf – Professor and chair of taskforce sustainability at Erasmus MC and an expert in sustainability in the context of public health.
▪️Mariecke van der Glas – Program Manager of Sustainability at EUR, which entails supporting the implementation of the university’s sustainable agenda, including the EUR strategy titled “Taking responsibility for Sustainability” for 2019-2024.
▪️Louise Postema – Program Officer at the Global Center on Adaptation, an international organization aiming to accelerate and lead global actions to make our societies resilient to climate change. GCA’s headquarters is the largest floating office globally, based in Rotterdam.
