At the event, you will be able to engage in insightful discussions about your lives after graduation and share the struggles, but also opportunities you faced during this time. The Alumni Reunion event will take place on the 15th of October from 18:30 to 20:00 on the Zoom online platform. The event will also feature speeches of three Honours Alumni who will talk us through their career decisions and studies after Erasmus University. After these speeches, you will be able to interact with each other through Zoom’s breakout room feature.
To current Honours students, don’t be discouraged. The event is also for you! It is the perfect opportunity for you to talk to past Honours students and hear about their success stories and experiences. Who knows, you might become one of them!
Meet Juliette Souliman, Julia Jäger and Thymo ter Doest!
They are the protagonists of the event and will tell you about their experiences, learnings and struggles they faced after graduating from Erasmus University as Honours students.
Juliette Souliman. Her tech enthusiasm and strong sense of entrepreneurship awarded her the nomination as Forbes 30 under 30, Women in Fintech Powerlist 2018, and Standout 35 & Women in Finance Award 2019. At Erasmus University, Juliette studied International Business Administration and participated in the Rotterdam School of Management Honours Programme. To anyone interested in a career in Finance, make sure to not miss out on this speech!
Julia Jäger works at Cyan Finance, the Specialist Green, Social and Future Capital Provider. After studying International Business Administration at Erasmus University, she pursued a Masters in Climate Change, Management and Finance at Imperial College Business School, where she developed her passion for sustainability. Thymo ter Doest is the proud co-founder of Accounting Box, a new online accounting service that uses machine learning to automate bookkeeping. After completing his business studies at Rotterdam School of Management and participating in the RSM Honours Programme, he pursued pre-masters studies in Artificial Intelligence at Maastricht University. This fall, he will continue his studies in Machine Learning at UCL, London. If you’re interested in hearing all about his company and the future of AI, come to the event!
