Genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression. Some of the most severe crimes that often result in thousands, if not millions, of casualties. Yet, the people responsible for these crimes are often hard to prosecute.

The International Criminal Court in The Netherlands tries those who are responsible for the gravest crime of concern to the international community. With 123 members, it is the biggest court that could try individuals for above mentioned crimes.

On the 13th of March, HonEURs and Astrea will visit the the International Criminal Court and will be given a guided tour there. We will learn how the ICC operates and what the impact of the court is on the international order.
